idesign are pleased to announce our designs for a Residential Care Home in North Devon. We are very happy to be working alongside Stonehaven Care Group to improve dementia care within the South West.  Our aim was to provide a beautiful, homely space for the residents, with light and airy rooms.

In a dementia unit it is imperative to provide the correct colour scheme in order for the patients to feel comfortable.  LRV's (light reflectance values) play a large part in this. The floor and wall must contrast by a minimum of 30 points and lighting must be at lowest 200 lux. Anything to add a homely feel such as plants and cushions will help residents to feel settled.

The scheme comprises of three designs across the three floors drawing on a nautical and nature feel, to create a light and bright space.

"Thank you so much for making Primrose House look so fantastic! I would recommend idesign to anyone looking for something truly special in interior design. You were both so professional throughout the project, and I have had so many positive comments about you and your work."
Emily Winslow, Stonehaven Care Group
