Innovative office interior design

Office space is too often associated with boring beige walls, simple fabric patterns on furniture and a cold, clinical feel. idesign wants to change all of that using innovative office interior design Exeter can embrace with enthusiasm.

So many of us spend the majority of our waking hours in an office job, and there’s no reason why those offices can’t be designed to be a welcoming place for employees, where productivity, innovation, and efficiency can flourish.

At idesign, we want to work with your business’ own mission and industry to create a unique office space that your clients and employees alike can delight in. Below is an example of our innovative office interior design.

Exeter and Devon businesses, whether well-established or a new start-up, can all benefit from an interior makeover.

“The HUM OF BEES is the voice of the garden” – Elizabeth Lawrence

AHSN leads the way in organising the development of healthcare initiaves, innovation, and teamwork in fruitful and productive ways. AHSN is, in this way, a kind of garden and its wokers are the bees in it!

Our proposal for the design of their office space at Pynes Hill centred on this concept to provide a working environment set on enhancing staff wellbeing and reflect the nature of the organisation’s work. The design zoned the office space into areas using bespoke seating pods, screens, high level desk areas and acoustic pods to create flexible working conditions for the staff. A central cafe acts as a hub and gateway to the  amphitheatre. A fresh and botanical design which has created a unique office space.

Burrington Estate appointed idesign to design and fit out their sales office on their EXIII development in Topsham. The emerald colour scheme inspired by the EXIII logo was completed with bespoke made sample display board

idesign were asked to re-imagine the entrance lobby of Senate Court in Exeter city centre. The design incorporates a feature slatted timber ceiling, zoned seating area and reflected mirror walls. Project to be completed later this year.

The inspiration behind the new offices for Devon Tarmasters came from an unlikely source: tarmac roads. Large graphics covering an entire wall depict spacious, colourful landscapes with ribbons of road cutting through them, adding a depth and breaking up the office’s neutral tones.

Clever way-finding on the carpet replicated the dotted lines on the road, leading the consumer right to where he or she needs to be. Meanwhile, the bespoke desk at reception offers more than just somewhere to check in – it features an iPad that allows visitors to access a variety of information about the company, and when they’re finished with their digital exploration, the seating offers clients a comfortable place to wait before meetings.

And for an unleashing of collaborative innovation and problem-solving, the meeting room is installed with a whiteboard wall and flexible desks so that the space can be adapted as needed. This is the kind of innovative office interior design that those in Exeter, Devon and even nationwide can be envious of.
