idesign is collaborating with Burrington Estates on their prestigious EXIII new homes development in Topsham to provide their customers with bespoke interior design packages.

We’ve created a variety of different looks to help customers imagine and choose the way their homes could look with the help of our services. Each of the looks created is targeted at different price points to work to customers’ individual budgets, and has its own driving concept – each created to match different personalities and lifestyles.

We’ll be helping excited new homeowners to obtain the look they choose in their new homes, providing them with advice on all aspects of their interiors, and supplying  furniture packs compiled of different items that have been carefully selected by us.

With our help, customers are moving into beautiful new homes, having received high quality interiors advice, and the procurement burden taken away from them. Turn-key services are also being provided where requested.

idesign are involved in a ground breaking project set in the countryside surrounding Exeter. The Hux Shard is an inspirational building, designed to be carbon negative, concrete free, manufactured offsite, using local materials, it will be ecological and complement the landscape and be a long term educational asset. Imagined by Squirrel Design who explored fractured wall panels and how they started to form a linear arrangement within the landscape the ‘inhabited sculpture’ was born. Set too be featured on Grand Designs we are honered to be involved in this project.

The design of the Hux Shard interiors is taking shape in the form of 3D visualisations, walk through tours and layout planning. It is a joy to design for such a special space. Although we are treating this as a commercial project, paying tribute at all times to the house’s sculptural form, we understand that first and foremost this is to be a gorgeous family home, in which its owners will love spending time with their children.

This project gave us a unique opportunity to transform a tired pre-existing home with fabulous views into an exciting, cutting-edge rental space for large group entertainment and accommodation, including corporate events and weddings.

Creating an impactful and functional central party space that allowed for high-end, smooth-running entertainment and celebration, was pivotal to the success of this project. idesign achieved this by creating a lively and appealing games area, a sleek-looking open plan living space (with key sub-spaces ingeniously and subtly incorporated into the planning), and a stunning open-tread glazed staircase to create a gorgeous, light-emitting centre piece.

Complete with eight ambient, individualised bedrooms, each with impressive, high-finish en suites, Huxham View is now a truly special and unique venue.

The client had a strong brief to create an Art Deco inspired apartment which reflected the style of the main building. Located on Budleigh Salterton seafront, the apartment was a wash with natural light so could take a strong design. The hotel corridor like entrance uses subtle wall lights and a dark grey panelling with feature mirror to set the scene. The light filled kitchen and dining space use bespoke art deco inspired units in the classic, ebony and ivory finishes. We worked closely with Deviel’s to achieve the client’s brief. The snug has more of a masculine feel with dark walnut and flaming sycamore bespoke TV cabinet designed by idesign, to house the client’s audio equipment.

This beautiful house in the South of France was fully renovated and styled by idesign. The brief was to create a contemporary, practical holiday home for a young family. We chose to use a ceramic, wood effect floor from Italy throughout, which was hugely practical to use with underfloor heating, pretty indestructible and looks amazing.
The kitchen was supplied by Ralph Winter, it has a glass fronted door to reflect lots of light into the room which
allowed us to use a mid grey paint on the walls. A Quooker tap and Miele appliances give the kitchen a luxurious feel.

A contemporary extension to a 200 year old cottage as part of an enlargement scheme to the rear of the property created an additional lounge and dining area. The light filled space has a modern clean finish using a neutral colour scheme with an injection of colour to frame the kitchen, enhanced by 20th century furniture pieces and geometric textiles; the interior is in stark contrast to the characterful cottage. Large bifolding doors bring the outside in and a large skylight allows views to the sky above. Externally the extension has vertical cedar cladding to completely set it apart from the render of the cottage.

idesign had the opportunity to dress three beautiful bathrooms! Designed by Sapphire Spaces, we loved selecting tiles, spa themed accessories and window dressings. The shutters give privacy and warmth to the room.
