The Link is a modular design targeted at use within the classroom to enhance integration of students, a tool that can be used to unite different age groups or abilities. Intended to be situated between two classrooms, the link is a convenient idea for schools with multiple classes of the same age group. The link provides space for students to join for group discussions and projects. To support this type of learning, the Link structure with three sides features whiteboard interiors to engage group learning and enhance participation. Within the space there are modular seating cushions, that can be moved into a series of arrangements, making the space adaptable to suit multiple uses. Additionally, The Link can be used within circulation spaces to break up large, open-plan areas and create spaces outside of the main classroom for small study groups. The exterior of the Link is upholstered in sound-absorbing fabric making it suitable for open-plan circulation space as well as noisier classroom environments. The Link modules are also designed to tesselate, so that a structure as big or as small as required can be created.
